Nelson Weber's Bio

Welcome to the web site that offers an alternative to the pro-incorporation groups that have been at work in the town of High Ridge, Missouri.  This site contains information that will help you understand the incorporation initiatives being proposed and how it affects you.  If you live in High Ridge, we encourage you to take time to read through the information provided and get involved.

The Mission

To keep High Ridge, Missouri, free from a fourth layer of government (we already have Federal, State, and County) and the associated taxpayer costs and government entanglements resulting from becoming an incorporated city.

Profile

This website is provided to help concerned citizens who want to get information and get involved have a platform and a resource that they can access and communicate to others.

There are those of us who feel it is our duty to become involved when attempts are made to change our way of life negatively.

There are a network of contributors to this website who have jobs, hobbies and other commitments that they would rather be focusing on but feel compelled to fight the incorporation initiatives and provide the truth about the groups behind them.

Although the Facts & Figures Committee does not sponsor this site, they will be referred to frequently and relied upon for the detailed information that Nelson Weber has compiled.  No other individual or group has any information comparable to Mr. Weber's facts and figures, which were compiled over a number of years.

The group, Opposition to Sugar Creek Hills Committee, also will be referred to and given a platform here.  Nancy Jordan is a member of this group and has been very outspoken from the beginning regarding the incorporation attempts.  She is recognized as a leader and positive communicator challenging the reasoning of those who promote incorporation.  Nancy is very busy with family, full-time job, and side businesses and can afford few distractions; yet, she feels compelled to take precious time from her schedule to devote to fighting what she believes to be unwanted and invasive attempts to incorporate Sugar Creek Hills.

The Webmaster is an exhausted network analyst who is tired of seeing her taxes rise uncontrollably and her freedoms slowly ebb away.  She, at one time, lived in and voted for (a mistake she is quite apologetic for today) the City of Byrnes Mill.  She is making available precious time, that would otherwise be devoted to many other activities including hobbies, to bring this site to the citizens of High Ridge to help dispel the misinformation that has been circulating and provide crucial facts to guide in decision making.  She is not a web guru and would rather be digging in the dirt and planting flowers!

Please note that all contributors to this website are sacrificing their own resources, both time and money, because of their strong convictions regarding the incorporation attempts.  They believe in their right to political free speech but are not politicians, and I am unaware of any attempts to be so.
